REGISTRATION
The conference secretariat and registration desk is located in the entrance hall of the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB).
Registration times are as follows:
Monday, 27 October –Thursday 31 October 8:00 to 17:00
Friday, 31 October 8:00 to 10:00
Conference participants receive their delegate bags, conference materials and conference name badges at registration in the WCCB. We kindly request that conference participants register at the WCCB registration desk before attending the Pre-conference activities on Monday, 27th October.
NAME BADGES
All registered delegates, members of the press, accompanying guests and exhibitors are requested to wear the Conference name badge when attending conference activities and scheduled social events. The badge will function as a pass during the conference, granting delegates access to the WCCB and the workshop locations.
The replacement of lost or forgotten badge will be charged a fee of 5 Euro. In order to facilitate the duplication of the badge, please present a copy of your registration confirmation as proof.
COMMUNITY TOURS
All organised Pre-Conference Tours (including the Boat Tour) scheduled for Monday 27 October depart from the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB). Delegates are kindly asked to meet 30 minutes prior to the indicated departure time in the WCCB "Rhine Lobby", where they will be welcomed by Metropolis Volunteers. Lunch bags will be provided for tour participants before departure, in the "Rhine-Lobby".
WORKSHOP SESSIONS
This year's Metropolis Conference workshop programme is one of the largest ever, with more than 100 workshops taking place over three days on Tuesday 28 October, Wednesday 29 October, and Thursday 30 October. Workshops are either 180 min or 90 min long and will take place according to the following schedule:
180 min Workshops 14:30 to 18:30
90 min Workshops 14.30 to 16:00 and 16:30 p.m. to 18:00
A break will be held from 16:00 to 16:30, to allow delegates to move between workshop locations.
There are 10 workshop venues; some are within walking distance of the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB), while others will be serviced by a shuttle service. The shuttle bus will depart daily outside the Rheine side entrance of the WCCB starting 14:00, as well as from outside the workshop locations during the breaks starting at 16:00.

PROGRAM
A complete printed Conference Programme and a Pocket Guide is included in the delegate bags, distributed at the WCCB registration desk.

Any changes to the programme, news and updates will be displayed on monitors in the WCCB Entrance Hall.
MESSAGES
Messages for delegates will be left on the bulletin board in the entrance hall of the WCCB. Delegates are advised to consult the message board during the conference breaks, as no messages will be delivered personally.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers wearing red Metropolis Conference vests will be assisting delegates on scheduled conference tours, at the WCCB and at workshop locations. The volunteers will be ready to assist delegates with transportation between conference locations and answer any questions related to the Conference activities.
INTERNET
A limited number of PCs with Internet access (free of charge) will be available for Conference delegates in the "Rhine lobby", at the WCCB.
Work places with internet access in other areas of the WCCB are reserved for speakers and journalists.
There is no public telephone service available at the WCCB.
